Soft Tissue Grafting — Periodontal Plastic Surgery

Periodontal plastic surgery encompasses several procedures, but essentially refers to the augmentation of soft tissue where deficiencies exist. One of the more common deficiencies is gingival recession (Fig. A). After receiving a gum graft, most of the time recession defects can be corrected (Fig. B).
