Dr. Matt Kelsey was born and raised in Omaha where he attended Creighton University for both his undergraduate and dental training. After earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, he attended the University of Minnesota where he earned a Certificate in Periodontology and Masters of Science in Dentistry for research related to cleaning methods around dental implants.
Following completion of his Periodontal residency, Dr. Kelsey lived and worked in the Twin Cities area for two years before moving back to Omaha to be closer to family.
Dr. Kelsey is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and is a Board Certified Periodontist. He has been active within the dental communities where he lived, having joined several dental societies and continuing education groups in Minnesota, and served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota for both periodontal residents and dental students.
Currently, Dr. Kelsey is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, the Nebraska Dental Association, the Omaha District Dental Society, and an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Periodontics at Creighton University.
In his free time, Dr. Kelsey enjoys cooking with his wife, Laura, spending time with family and friends, experiencing the food scene in Omaha, and running.
