Dr. Pat Kelsey was born and raised in Omaha. He attended Creighton University for his undergraduate education, majoring in Chemistry. Dr. Kelsey earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Creighton University School of Dentistry, then was accepted into the Periodontics residency program at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
While at OSU, Dr. Kelsey earned his Certificate in Periodontology and Masters of Science in Dentistry, and was chosen to be the program’s Chief Resident during his third and final year.
Dr. Kelsey has achieved Diplomate status with the American Board of Periodontology, and is a Board Certified Periodontist. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, and is a local member of the Nebraska Dental Association and the Omaha District Dental Society.
Besides spending time in private practice, he is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Periodontics at the Creighton University School of Dentistry and is a Visiting Faculty Member at the UNMC College of Dentistry for the Postgraduate Periodontics program.
During his free time, Dr. Kelsey enjoys spending time with his family, swimming, officiating high school lacrosse and playing guitar.
