Uncovery of Unerupted Teeth

Sometimes a tooth does not erupt into your mouth like it should, and is covered by gum tissue and bone. If you are planning on getting braces, most times your orthodontist will want to bring that tooth out from underneath the gums so it can be part of your beautiful smile.

In order to do this, a short procedure is necessary to attach a bracket onto the unerupted tooth before you go back to the orthodontist to begin moving it into place.
